 Bedridden with a cold and staying far away from the Uthradam rush, I suddenly sat up. I saw an Instagram Reel displaying a board that read "Onasadya," with Kerala dishes laid out. It looked like a canteen. They had also mixed in an Onam song. I realized someone made it purely for likes and to flatter the people at their company. I left a comment. Soon after, the justification brigade arrived. I stopped. Well, at least I got a thread for my blog. So, what I was saying is, we are surrounded by Malayalis who know absolutely nothing about Onam, the Onasadya, or its customs—even my own kids. Nowadays, Onam just means a set saree, a kasavu mundu, a printed shirt, and a Sadya. That's it. What is Onam? Why do we celebrate it? How many people actually know? Since I was born in Kerala, Onam to me is made of the stories told by my family and neighbors, and the traditions we followed. Today, if you search on Google, you'll get Onam stories.  And just like that, VMA Onam 2026 arrived! Two days flew by in the blink of an eye. Even today, my son asked for yellow ice cream and strawberry ice cream—he genuinely believes every single day is a celebration. Morning Star stepped up for the tug-of-war expecting to easily bag the first prize, but stumbled hard. They held their ground for a bit, but the hulks on the other side pulled with all their might. The women's match ended in a brawl—turns out someone had tied the rope behind them! Who on earth investigates and exposes these things? Playing CID even in the middle of Onam! Left staring at the sky without even a single banana—let alone the prize plantain bunch—the Morning Star crew took to blaming the powerhouses. Saw quite a variety of characters during the DJ session... folks who walked behind the stage on two legs returned on all fours to deliver full-blown 'Nagin dance' performances. There were plenty of champions jumping around in the crowd without knowing a sing...

  ദേ പിന്നെയും വിഎം എ 2026 ഓണം വന്നെത്തി. 2 ദിവസം പോയ വഴി അറിഞ്ഞില്ല. മോന് ഇന്ന് കൂടെ ചോദിച്ചു യെല്ലോ ഐസ് ക്രീം സ്ട്രോബെറി ഐസ് ക്രീം. അവൻ്റെ വിചാരം എന്നും ആഘോഷം ആണെന്ന് ആണ്.  വടം വലിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഫസ്റ്റ് പ്രൈസ് അടിക്കാമെന്ന് വിചാരിച്ച മോണിംഗ് സ്റ്റാർ അടിപതറി. കുറച്ച് പിടിച്ച് നിന്നു പക്ഷേ അപ്പുറത്തെ മല്ലന്മാർ ആഞ്ഞു വലിച്ചു. വിമൻസ് അവസാനം അടി ആയി..ആരോ വടം പുറകിൽ കെട്ടിയിരുന്നു. ഇതൊക്കെ ആരാണാവോ ചികഞ്ഞു പുറത്ത് ഇട്ടത്. ഓണത്തിൻ്റെ ഇടയ്ക്കും. സിഐഡി കളി. പഴക്കുല. പോയിട്ട് ഒരു പഴം പോലും കിട്ടാതെ മാനം നോക്കി നിൽക്കുന്ന മോണിംഗ് സ്റ്റാർ കൾ മല്ലൻ മാരെ പഴിച്ചു.  ഡിജെ കളിൽ പല തരം ആൾക്കാരെ കണ്ടൂ..2 കാലിൽ നടന്നു സ്റ്റേജ് ഇൻ്റെ പുറകിൽ പോയവർ 4 കാലിൽ എത്തി നാഗിൻ ഡാൻസ് പെർഫോം ചെയ്തു. സ്റ്റെപ്പ് അറിയാതെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ.കൂടി തുള്ളി കളിക്കുന്ന പല ചാമ്പ്യന്മാരും.ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്നെ കണ്ട് ഇതെഴുതി ചളമാക്കും എന്ന് കരുതി മുങ്ങിയവരും ഉണ്ട്.പക്ഷേ ക്യാമറ കണ്ണുകളിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപെടാൻ ആരെയും അനുവദിക്കാത്ത കശ്മലന്മാർ  എല്ലാം.പകർത്തി ഗ്രൂപ്പ് കളിൽ ഇട്ടു. ഇതൊക്കെ ആണ് കൂട്ടുകാർ. ആർക്കും.ഉപകാരം ആവിലെങ്കിലു...
