Desi Foreigners
Desi Foreigners.
Do you ever acted like a foreigner infront of anyone. Foreigner means White for all of us, because we are always called black, even if you look wheatish.
Some people dress up like Foreigners and show pride forgetting their status or forgetting that whatever they show, they are black and Desi. Let's call them Desi Foreigners.
The main reason may be that they went to foreign countries and made some money?
After coming back from the foreign countries, there will be a procession of judgement from their side. They always
contempt others. I have seen that at least 70 percent of people will be like that.
But the remaining 30 percent of the people will become more humble than they were.
I know so many people who are in good positions in my family and friends circle.but I feel ashamed of myself seeing their humbleness.
Maybe that humbleness, life without despising anyone, that's what brought them to the position they are in. Down to earth mentality noone shows off. We can understand from their acts or when we talk to them.
Some of my friends are in abroad.They left here even after learning spoken English. That's why they never acted like Foreigners.Because they know who they are, even if they are earning in dollars.
So, What is the problem of these 70% people.Have they lived with other Foreigners and are haunted by their ghosts. I have been working with Foreigners for many years. I never saw a single foreigner disrespecting another person. But these Desi Foreigners always talk to people with disrespect.
Sometimes they could have got it by birth.They could have born in a very poor family. It would be the greediness when suddenly some money came into their hand, making them this Desi Foreigner. But this can't always be true, some who are born rich also believe that they are Desi Foreigners.
I have also gone abroad related to work. But this thought has never come to mind that, I always have to wear some branded clothes and show foreign examples on everything.
Some people look at foreign work as an opportunity to show off and to call themselves Desi Foreigners.
Are they thinking that they never had to return back? I heard a story from one of my old co-worker. He waited so long and finally he got an onsite. He was alone in a house on a mountain and always covered with snow. After a few days, he brought his family. But within 6 months his family left the place. Who will stay in a place where there is not even a cat to talk to, where there is an extreme climate. In one year, he also returned back and took a vow that he won't go back.
The situation is the same in the Gulf countries.Many live and die in small rooms etc. Some people will get tired and come back.Others will just hang on somehow. All these categories are among us.
Anyone can go abroad and pretend to be a Desi Foreigner if they make foreign currency. But what is the point.
At the end of the day, your family and friends will only be with you in need and you should know how practical it will be, if you play this Desi Foreigner game with them.
Be happy in your own things.Go ahead with self-confidence.You will never become a Desi Foreigner or need to become a Desi Foreigner.
