Day Dream

It was a daydream I had today. I thought I would write it down while it’s still fresh.

"Blue sky, green sea, red earth", right? Forgive me if the whole thing sounds a bit cliché.

So, this happens in a valley filled with both greenery and sand. Don't ask me where it is; there's no room for logic in a story.

First off, a bunch of people from my old office are there. I haven't seen them in a long time... people I really wanted to meet. We are rolling around in the sand... kind of like our Sri Sri's dance of joy.

For those who don't know, he steps to the rhythm of devotional songs and randomly throws jasmine garlands into the crowd. And there's a huge scramble to catch them. I've been there too... though I didn't quite get what the whole thing was about.

Anyway, that episode ended. After that, the scene changed. Suddenly, all the sand vanished. It became a valley entirely blanketed in green, filled with incredibly soft grass. Wondering how it got so soft? Well, that's just how things work in dreams, my friends.

Then, my school friends arrived. It felt somewhat like a picnic. But there was a lot of running and jumping around... You know that absolute peace of mind you get when you're with your favorite people? I felt exactly that. Someone was singing songs in the background. Overall, the vibe became very colorful.

Then, there was something like an auditorium nearby. When it started raining, we went inside and stood there. It felt like heaven. That gentle breeze caressing the grass and the softly falling rain. Maybe it was Switzerland. Since it's a dream, I must have scored a free on-site trip!

My heart was just filling up with joy. Bam.

I opened my eyes. No green grass, no sand. Just a whole lot of dust and cold.

When you have a dream, you have to write it down right away, while it's still fresh.
